Quote approvals
Sticker shock at pickup ends when the trail is airtight.
The owner sees the scope + total, picks an alternative, and accepts on record. Change orders after acceptance require their own approval and land on the same chain-of-custody trail. When the invoice comes, nothing about the total is a surprise.
The problem
- Verbal approvals over the phone that the customer remembers differently three weeks later.
- A quote sitting nine days without follow-up because nobody is watching the clock.
- Change orders never signed. Reveal at pickup. Dispute.
- The customer wanted the base fix and got the premium package because the estimator couldn't show alternatives side by side.
What CoreOP does
- Portal approval with the customer's IP, timestamp, and the exact scope + total at the moment of acceptance.
- Three quote alternatives side by side - base, base + preventive, base + upgrade. Customer picks the total that matches their budget.
- Change orders after acceptance require their own approval and land on the same trail.
- Approval clock on every quote with rule-driven auto-nudge and escalation. Days-in-approval becomes a KPI.
